Kölner Colnafix is a water-based adhesive that is part of the KGGG three-part process which also includes a Sealer Primer and Fond burnishing clay. The KGGG Fond System replaces the time consuming traditional Gesso and Bole water gilding system while providing a beautiful and bright gold finish.

After sealing and then applying Fond, Colnafix is brushed on before applying gold leaf.

Colnafix has a shelf life about one year when refrigerated.
