Gilders Water Size

Water Based Size is an adhesive / glue that reaches proper tack (or set) in about 30 minutes, depending on temperature, humidity, and the thickness of the application.

Gold, silver, or other leaf can be gilded for up to 24 hours depending on conditions, and the size can remain pliable for an extended period of time. It should not be used for outdoor gilding applications where it may be exposed to the elements.

Water Based Size is non-flammable, and can be shipped by regular mail.
